Mirasim Documentation
Data, recording and privacy
What Mirasim records, where your data lives, and how to turn recording off.
What lives where
Project files, Git worktrees, session history and usage data live on the host you selected, mostly under ~/.mirasim. Workspace configuration lives in <workspace>/.mirasim.
- Your code is sent to the model providers you use. Turns on Mirasim's platform credits go through Mirasim.
- Local models keep everything on your computer.
- Provider and connector keys are stored in the system keychain where one is available.
Usage recording
Recording is on by default. For each model call, Mirasim records the model, route, status, latency and token counts on this computer; message content is never written. The Traffic monitor page shows these records.
# for one launch
MIRASIM_RECORD=0 mirasim
# persistently, from the next launch
touch ~/.mirasim/capture.off
# …then relaunch. Remove the file to enable recording again.Feature-usage statistics have their own switch: "Help improve mirasim" in Settings.
Remote hosts and team spaces
- A connection code contains an access token. Share it only with people you trust.
- Selecting a remote host does not migrate the local host's pairings or schedules.
- In a team space, workspaces, sessions and the team chat are stored in that space.
- API keys configured in a space are stored in that space. Members can use the models shared with them without seeing the key or endpoint.
