Three ways to pay for models

Every model call is paid one of three ways. Each session uses one, you can switch at any time, and one space can mix all three.

Mode	How to start	Who pays
Your own account	Sign in to your Claude, ChatGPT or other subscription in the agent (chapter 14).	Your subscription; Mirasim charges nothing.
Your own API key	Connect any provider or relay under Settings › Model config; in a space, tick “Share with members”.	The provider, billed to that key.
Mirasim credits	Get a plan or a token pack, then pick a platform model in the session.	Personal credit or space credit; 1 credit is $1 at API list prices, across every model.

The ledger below keeps them apart: “Own vs platform” shows how the two routes split, with your own accounts and keys on the own side, and each platform call's “Paid by” says whether personal or space credit paid for it.

The traffic monitor

Settings › Traffic monitor records every model call in one ledger.

Pick a range: today, 7, 30 or 90 days, or custom. The page shows calls, tokens, cache hit rate and estimated cost for that range, each compared with the previous period.

Finding where the money went

The trend chart shows token usage over time, split by kind, agent or model. Click a legend entry to hide that series.

The breakdown table covers five dimensions: agents, models, accounts, workspaces and sessions. Each row shows token share, calls, input, output, cache reads, hit rate, estimated cost and last activity. Click any row to add it to the page-wide filter.

Down to a single call

The call list shows calls newest first, with time, agent, model, status, duration and workspace. Select one to see its session, workspace, account, route, duration and size, token breakdown, reasoning tokens, cache hit rate and estimated cost.
